Acceptance of Terms
By booking a session, attending the studio, or using its facilities, clients agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. Failure to comply may result in termination of access without refund.
​Bad weather arrangement, Force Majeure:
The studio will be closed when typhoon signal no. 8 or black thunderstorm signal is hoisted 2 hours before class starts. Class cancellations due to bad weather cannot be made up and no refund can be given.
Lantau Pottery Studio and its staff are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics).
Make-up class arrangement:
We provide one make-up class for term enrollment provided that such make-up class is scheduled 24-hours in advance and is used within the same term in which the class has been missed. Due to the nature of the pottery process it is up to the discretion of the instructor when a class can be made up. No refunds can be given, and classes are non transferable.
Payment method:
Cash, PayMe, Alipay, FPS, E-transfer before the start of class to secure your space. A copy of the payment confirmation should be sent to us via WhatsApp before class commencement. Places will be confirmed only once full payment and this registration form have been received and provided the course is not yet fully subscribed.
Bookings:
Full payment secures bookings. Non-refundable deposits may apply for workshops. Applications are accepted on a "first come, first served" basis. All Payments are final.
Cancellation policy:
Classes can only be refunded for credit towards another class or workshop of equal value if canceled 7 days before the start of class.
48-hour notice is required for workshop rescheduling.
Late cancellations forfeit fees.
Lantau Pottery Studio may cancel/reschedule sessions due to low enrollment, staff illness, or emergencies in this case clients will receive credits.
Late Arrivals:
Missed time due to tardiness will not be extended.
All patrons are required to follow the rules of the studio to ensure a pleasant experience for all.

Intellectual Property:
Clients retain ownership of finished pieces but grant Lantau Pottery studio permission to photograph work for promotional use unless otherwise requested.

Media Release:
Lantau Pottery Studio may take photos/videos of sessions for marketing. Clients may opt out via written request.​

Abandoned Property:
Items not picked up within 90 days may be subject to storage fees or considered abandoned. If items/goods remain uncollected for 180 days from the original collection notification, and the Studio has made reasonable attempts to contact the Customer using the provided contact information, the items/goods will be deemed irrevocably abandoned. No refunds will be issued for goods deemed abandoned. Refunds for cancellations prior to abandonment are only considered at the Studio’s discretion and will be subject to the deduction of all accrued Storage Fees, a restocking/handling fee of not less than 30% of the items/goods value and any irreversible costs incurred.

Termination of Access:
The studio reserves the right to revoke access for breaches of these terms.

DISCLAIMER:
All participants enrolled at Lantau Pottery Studio do so at their own risk, in any case, Lantau Pottery Studio and its staff will accept no responsibility for the loss or damage to a participant’s property or injury or accident sustained during any class. Students, parents, and guardians agree that no claims will be made against Lantau Pottery Studio, its owners, or its staff.

Amendments:
Terms may be updated periodically. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a positive studio environment!
