School Programs with Lantau Pottery Studio
Welcome to a unique artistic journey designed for every student, from our youngest creators in kindergarten to our sophisticated artists in secondary school.
Elevate your school’s curriculum with a bespoke, English-immersion field trip to our serene Mui Wo pottery studio, a hidden creative sanctuary in a remote Hong Kong village. Designed for students from Kindergarten through Secondary level, our program transforms the ancient craft of ceramics into a multidisciplinary educational journey, uniquely customized to align with your specific units of inquiry in Art, History, or STEM. By stepping away from the urban hustle, students engage in a hands-on exploration of global citizenship, whether they are uncovering the chemistry of glazes, recreating archaeological artifacts, or mastering sculptural form.
To ensure every visit is meticulously tailored to your students’ learning objectives and grade level, we require a 30-day lead time for all bookings. We look forward to helping you bridge the gap between the traditional studio and the modern classroom through the universal language of clay. Our Mui Wo location makes us the perfect anchor for a full-day Lantau excursion.
