Events & Corporate Team Building
Q: Why is Mui Wo a good location for corporate team building in Hong Kong?

Unlike a standard office workshop, our studio provides a digital detox environment surrounded by the nature of South Lantau, which is proven to reduce employee burnout and spark creative problem-solving.

A: For indoor workshops, we can comfortably host up to 20 participants. For larger school programs or outdoor events, our expansive garden space can accommodate up to 50 people.
Q: Can you help arrange catering for our Pottery event?
A: Yes! We partner with local Mui Wo vendors to offer everything from farm-to-table lunches to beachside refreshments. We can help you plan a full-day itinerary that includes pottery, dining, and even a guided nature walk to Silvermine Waterfall.
The Pottery Process
Q: When can I collect my finished pottery?
A: Pottery is a "slow art." Your pieces must air-dry completely before being fired twice in our kiln (bisque and glaze firing). Your finished, food-safe ceramics will be ready for collection or delivery approximately 3–4 weeks after your workshop.
Q: Is the pottery made at the studio food-safe and microwave-safe?
A: Yes. We use high-quality clay and non-toxic, food-safe glazes. All pieces are fired to over 1200℃, making them durable for daily use in your kitchen or office.
Q: What should I wear to a pottery class?
A: Pottery can be messy! We recommend wearing comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on and closed-toed shoes. We provide aprons for all participants. We also suggest trimming long nails and leaving rings or watches at home for the best experience on the wheel.
