Adults Pottery classes

If you're interested in joining our adults pottery lessons, we'll start with the basics of hand-building; you'll be introduced to pinching, coiling, and slab building, before progressing to wheel throwing. This approach gives you a solid understanding of the process, limitations, and possibilities when working with clay. Pottery offers a wide range of benefits, spanning physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to pick up a new hobby, explore self improvement possibility's, or if you simply have a vision you want to bring to life. After completing eight lesson, you'll be eligible for Studio Membership, which unlocks a range of exclusive benefits and provides access to extended studio hours.

 

Our adult classes are open to anyone aged 15 and over.

Class Fee: 

$1400/person for 4 two hour lessons must be completed within the term period. One make-up class for month enrollment, provided that such make-up class is used within the week in which the class has been missed. Any unused fee that will expire at the end of the month cannot be rolled forward unless special arrangements have been made.

Materials fees is calculated separately: 
By weight for bisque fire: $5/100g, must be prepaid for firing.
By volume for glaze cone 6 firing: 50¢/cubic inch, minimum of $10 for small items.

What to wear: We highly recommend wearing clothing you won't mind getting dirty and closed-toed shoes. We do provide communal aprons to help keep you a little clean. Jewelry such as rings, bracelets, and watches are best left at home. Hair tied up and long nails trimmed are advised for a safe and productive learning experience.

Become a Studio Member: attended 8 lessons and become eligible to join Members Studio Time and work independently, practice your craft, explore the possibilities without any time constraints.
