Children’s Pottery Lessons

Ages 6 to 15. Kids sculpt, glaze and paint their own pieces — bowls, animals, whatever they've decided to make that week — and take home something that actually holds water, not just a shelf ornament.

Holiday Workshops and Camps

Half-day pottery camps in Mui Wo during the summer and other school holidays, for children and teens. Camps cover wheel-throwing, hand-building and a bit of glaze chemistry, structured so kids leave each day with something finished.

Educational School Programs

Pottery programs for international schools in Hong Kong, taught in English, for classes from Kindergarten through Secondary. Clay is a genuinely good way to teach material science — what happens at 1,200°C in a kiln isn't abstract once you've watched your own cup go through it — and sessions can be built around whatever the syllabus needs that term.

Wheel-Throwing Workshops

Learn to centre clay on the wheel, pull even walls, and turn a lump into a bowl or mug that doesn't wobble. Come for a single session to see if it's for you, or sign up for the multi-week course if you already know it is.

Private Workshops & Parties

Book the studio for a birthday, an anniversary, or a group of friends who want to do something with their hands instead of another dinner out. Pick the wheel for a challenge, or hand-building if you'd rather everyone sit around a table and talk while they work.

Adults Pottery Lessons

Short courses in wheel-throwing and hand-building for adults, from complete beginners through to people who've done this before and want to push their technique further. Expect wet clay under your fingernails, a slower pace than your day job, and — by the end — a bowl or mug you made yourself, glazed, fired, and sitting on your kitchen counter.

Hand-Building Workshops

Shape clay by hand using pinching, coiling and slab-building — no wheel required. It's slower than throwing and easier to pick up in one session, which makes it a good starting point if the wheel looks intimidating.

Pottery Painting Workshop

Pick a piece of ready-made bisque pottery — a mug, a plate, a bowl — and paint it with food-safe ceramic underglaze. We glaze and fire it after you leave, so what you get back a few days later is a properly finished object, not a craft-fair souvenir. No drawing experience required.

Members' Studio Access

Once you've finished the foundation lessons, membership gets you open studio time to keep working on your own, whenever the studio's free. You're sharing space with other members at roughly your stage, not alone behind a locked door.

Corporate Team Building

Take your team out of the office and onto Lantau Island for the afternoon. Nobody centres a pot on the first try, which makes for a decent icebreaker — watching a colleague fight with wet clay says more about team dynamics than another round of trust falls. It's a 30-minute ferry from Central, and we run the whole session.
